Domestic and lazy Sunday. Up late, went off to Waitrose. Got annoyed at the potatoes--no Maris Pipers, no King Edwards, just various sorts of waxy potatoes and unspecified "white potatoes". Tried Sainsburys, same again. Hmph. The "white potatoes" worked, by the way, but the mash was less fluffy than I like. Part of that could be using a mixer instead of a food mill (mouli) though.

Good dinner though--steak with bearnaise sauce, mashed potato, sugar snap peas, and mushrooms for Neil. And he helped with the cooking--he's learning :-)

Also hoovered, dumped all the old papers, and generally tidied. And read the papers as usual.
