Still lurgied, eye still icky, ToTM arrived. I really need to clean around here too, but first I've got to attack the piles of Stuff... too depressing :-) I really will do it as soon as I feel better though because the guilt is starting to get to me.

We've also picked a china pattern - the Denby Storm range. I ended up deciding on Denby because it can serve as an all-purpose set and save us having to get "good" china just yet, which is expensive, needs to be stored and only gets used a few times a year anyway. Jen was quite surprised at my choice; she didn't think I'd pick that color. :-)

guilt got to me and I did a little--tidied up (Neil is not allowed to play Civ tonight till he sorts out the Pile O'Crap on the table); dusted, and cleaned all the windows in the lounge and about half the ones in the bedroom. The insides, anyway. The outsides really need doing. I can do the bedroom ones from the balcony, but I can't do the lounge. :-( Gah, I prefer American windows: they've got a revolutionary concept known as opening. British ones drive me nuts: gigantic sheets of glass with 2 tiny sections that open for air. OK, so American push up sash windows can be a pain to do, but we had the open-out variety, so it was easy to clean both sides. Plus, you actually got a breeze! We also had a revolutionary concept known as screens, so you could open the windows all the way without worrying about the cat jumping out. :-)

Have also done all the trim and sills; the amount of dust was disgusting.

Still need to hoover, though. And I haven't done the bathroom....
