Saturday

Today I have:

Gone to the greenmarket and gotten lots of nice fruit (that I wasn't expecting to see this early in the season, e.g. local peaches);

Gotten stuck in hellacious traffic (holiday weekend + nice weather);

Eaten too much;

Did some errands;

Seen Spider-Man 2 (v.good. Some minor quibbles with the directing, e.g. overuse of close up shots and zooms).

Tomorrow, beach in the morning, then come home and have a BBQ. I got fresh corn too :)

Burnt :-(

Went to Jones Beach this morning. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a great time (though we left early). Unfortunately, despite smearing on factor 45, I got sunburnt shoulders (and a nice new crop of freckles on my face). Oh well.

Came home, played with my new toy *cough* (and had a panic attack when safari started crashing every time I used it--soon traced the problem to some bad fonts). I made a pie (raspberry and redcurrant) and did dinner: BBQ'ed chicken, veggie kebabs, baked potatoes, and fresh corn. Yum!

Now Neil's helping me move some boxes to the basement... got to tackle the rest of my stuff in the next 48 hours :/
