Fun day in the city yesterday, though I was a bit tired driving home. Luckily Craig was staying over at mine, which meant a) I didn't have to drive him to Central Islip and b) I had company to keep me awake. ;-)
Today was lazy: got up, made pancakes, saw Craig off, then went back to bed. The most exciting thing to happen was that I actually cooked myself a real dinner, even though I waited till 20:30. True, if Carly hadn't taken out chicken I probably wouldn't have (I hate taking out meat just for myself--the packages are usually for at least 2 people) but I did make chicken with onions, mashed potatoes, and carrots. I was surprised at myself--I was feeling really lazy, but as I was slicing onions I thought "I really should have a vegetable with this, not just potatoes" and took out the carrots. I should've only cooked 2 potatoes though (they were fairly small, so I put 3 up to boil). But do I really need to excuse any potato consumption? ;-) Especially when the chicken was boneless skinless breast meat.
