This means we can fight EVEN MORE about what to watch! ;) Especially since he'll get all the Sky Sport channels. I tend to go for factual stuff (BBC Four was designed for people like me: ooh, documentaries on Algeria and Michael Ventris [man who deciphered Linear B]!) and drama. Plus, er, Coronation Street. I know it's crap, but I find it inexplicably entertaining. I never liked EastEnders though (we've had it on TV for ages--or did until BBC America came along, put it on [thereby ending it on PBS] and then cancelling it.
We've got plenty in common, but we don't agree on TV--I just can't watch sport nonstop. ;-)
(Because it's a communal installation, we can't get a 2nd box or Sky+, so recording or watching on a second TV isn't really an option [even if we got a 2nd TV. So no comments telling us to do that. :-) )
