Typical Friday, shopping and so on.
Finally replaced our iron. My grandma insisted on getting the most expensive one (I don't know why). It does have some nifty features, including a heat indicator: not hot enough/right temperature/too hot for your given heat setting. Plus, the water tank is labelled with the capacity (400mL--nice and big)--and this one doesn't have an open top so you can't spill water out of the top! Actually, I was prepared to be skeptical about it but having done half my ironing it's a definite improvement on the old one (even before the water tank started leaking). The steam is much more powerful and it only requires a single pass to get things crisp. I'm not sure I would've paid $139.99 (+tax) for it though!
Also got a new ironing board cover; now I have one that doesn't shift when I'm moving the ironing around!
The excitement of my life....
