I'm coming down with a cold. What timing :/

Yesterday was fun--and tiring!! LOTS of shopping (poor Neil--I ended up having to drag him back to Bloomingdales... was sort of keen on something I saw there, didn't want to spend that much. Went to Lord & Taylor, got a skirt and shoes but no top, went back to Bloomies because I'd seen some tops, got it AND another skirt. Was going to return the first but Mom said to keep it--it's cute.) In between Lord & Taylor and the 2nd Bloomies trip, we went to the Met for some culture. (And more shopping: presents for Neil's family.)

After we collapsed from too much shopping (at least I drove in so we had someplace for the packages) we had dinner and came home. There Neil encountered Family Hell. He's now learned the expression "oy-oy-oy" which sounds kind of funny in an English accent ;)

Today, party preparations.....
