So we went to the Bronx Zoo yesterday. It was fun :) It's the end of winter, so not everything was open (no Wild Asia or Butterfly Zone, for example) and the Congo Gorilla Forest was only partly open--you could only see the indoor bit. (But it was free--normally you have to pay extra for it. Worth it though.) We did quite a bit in 4 hours. The gorillas were fantastic. One was quite funny; she stuck her tongue out at the people. (She also decided to pick her nose and eat it. Good example for the kiddies ;) ) There were several young ones too and they were busy playing.

We also did Tiger Mountain, and caught one of the enrichment sessions where the keepers interact with the tigers and answer questions, which is cool. Got a pic of my namesake tiger, who was being a bit lazy and dozing :-) Also got some good pics of the snow leopards, or rather Neil did, and he bought me a stuffed elephant :-)

We had Italian food for dinner then went to visit Jen and Rob--stayed later than I thought we would, though. Not home till 11pm!
