Basic pumps. Like I said, they're not going to show, so I just cared that they were comfortable :-)
Got really annoyed by that argument last night--it finally reached the point where I'm dropping it, but en route it first reached the point where I pretty much lost it. I'm still slightly pissed off. It's not that I care about that person's opinion; it's just the way I was treated. If I really had gotten the wrong end of the stick, she could have said so right away, instead of being obnoxious to me and the other people who added their opinion. (And if you're so vocal in stating your own opinions, be prepared for others to offer differing ones.) And the giving-the-finger userpic... SUCH a mature touch.
Grr. Sorry. It just really got in my craw. I'm stubborn, and I don't like letting arguments drop until I've won (not a good character trait, I know), but at least I try to debate the issues, rather than get involved in ad hominem attacks or arguments about style rather than substance. Take my arguments with Dannyno on Monochrome--anyone who's read them knows how tenacious I can be. We disagree on most things, but I respect Dan as a debater. With a few minor lapses, he tends to stick to the subject of hand, and keep it from being personal.
