Let's see: Our oven has been fixed; I made chocolate cookies to celebrate.
It rained yesterday, and was fairly mild today (it felt really warm, but when I got in I checked the WeatherBug and apparently it was only 41°F/5°C... must be too used to the cold ;) ) so the snow's all melting. Yay!
I went to the library today. I dropped my books at the desk and went to go look in the stacks. The librarian called me back, holding up a copy of Where the Wild Things Are, and said "This is a Plaza School book" (I was at the public library). I told her it wasn't mine and pointed to my books, which were in a stack in front of her. She apologized. I wonder, though, why she thought I would have a school copy of Where the Wild Things Are? I suppose she could've thought I had a child at school. It certainly didn't match my other books, though! (The Little Friend, Lost in a Good Book, Quicksilver, and Lord Krishna's Cuisine: The Art of Indian Vegetarian Cooking.)
Didn't do much this afternoon, though I made dinner in advance for once. I do wish my grandmother would tell me when she's stopping at the fish store. It's annoying when she comes home with a bag and I've already made something else for dinner! (And I took out a chicken to defrost for tomorrow, but I can make that Friday; it'll take at least a day to defrost anyway.)
Feeling very random, and slightly headachy.
