Well, that was fun.

if a little weird :-)

5 days down in Devon with Neil's family--my first time celebrating Christmas, albeit in totally secular form. I got presents, which I wasn't expecting! Books mainly, what a surprise ;-) We lazed around (Neil's discovered just HOW impossible it is to get me out of bed in the morning when I don't want to get up), ate lots (How DO British people manage to eat Christmas pudding, especially with clotted cream, after a huge meal?? It's nice, but it's rich!!) and went to see Return of the King. This was interesting because I hadn't seen the first 2 films and still haven't read the books, though I do know a bit about Lord of the Rings. I managed to follow it anyway, though. I thought the ending was a bit dragged out though, especially as my arse was starting to hurt by then ;-)

And I suppose I'm obliged to add that Neil is wonderful and lovely and all that soppy stuff ;-)

(And I'm obliged to say it because it's true. ;-) )

questions and answers

I just got asked if I would do something.

The answer was yes. With a shriek of joy.

What was the question again?

Oh yes--"Will you marry me?"

:-)
