Tried introducing Neil to the Waking Life soundtrack yesterday and he called it "weird... even painful in parts".

I'm not saying this to castigate him for his lack of taste. Just... hmph. My own eclecticism defeats me!

Oh yes, still here

Wasted today by mixing up the date and thinking that GE was coming today, not tomorrow. Yes, the saga continues: first they sent us the wrong part. Then they sent the right one, but didn't show up for the follow-up appointment. Hopefully it will all be fixed tomorrow and I can stop making calls to their repair line. I have the number memorized now: 1 (800) 848-7620. Which is not an easy number to memorize!
