Went shopping.

Century 21 was a zoo, and Grandma (it was the whole fam) has this problem where she constantly forgets (maybe on purpose) that I am NOT a size 14. *grumbles* We proceeded to go to Lord & Taylor in Manhasset--the Garden City branch had had some coats, but no great ones, and as Manhasset tends to have a better women's department I thought it was worth a shot. Found a coat pretty quickly--didn't get black, though! I was going for black as the usual other choice is camel, which IMO gets dirty too fast. This time, I got dark green--kind of military. Nicer than it sounds :-) They also had navy, which was nice, but I thought about it and I usually wear black shoes and have a black handbag, so green is a better bet. It's all wool rather than cashmere blend, but still warm, and at a great price too :-)
