The fruit gods have smiled upon me.

I went out today and saw Macoun apples!!! Local ones--some of them had leaves on :-)

I love apples generally, raw or cooked, but I adore Macouns. As far as I am concerned they are the #1 variety for eating raw. Since they don't store, I gorge myself on them during their season :)
