Purchased yesterday:

2 15-packs Bounty paper towels
2 36-packs Charmin Ultra (giant rolls--supposedly 36 = 54 regular rolls)
2500pkt Sweet 'N' Low
3 10-packs (6oz each) tuna (Bumble Bee solid white albacore in water) (Just did the math: 5.1kg/11¼lb)
2 2-qt jars Hellmann's mayonnaise (so big, they use plastic instead of glass)
2pk 1.1kg cans Chock Full O'Nuts coffee (I pointed out how much of a pain they'd be to store in the fridge)
1 24pk V8 (12oz/355mL cans)
2 24pk caffeine-free Diet Coke (also 12oz cans)
2x200 dinner napkins
14lb large Milk-Bones
4.4kg dishwasher detergent
2.66L liquid dish soap
1gal (3.78L) Windex
3lb Oscar Mayer bacon (my mother and sister eat bacon. Ick ick ick and quadruple ick!)

The dishwasher detergent was particularly silly: we've got about ¾ of the old box left, and our dishwasher is still broken!

At least Grandma didn't get the enormous bottle of laundry detergent. The ones Costco sell have special pouring spouts because you can't lift them when full! (We use liquid detergent.)

Also, I think I meant "chord change" yesterday, not "key change". :-)

My knowledge of music theory is fairly sketchy--most of my school music classes were performance based. And what I do know is mainly orchestral, primarily strings. So I have some idea about how a piece is divided into melody and harmony and scored for the various instruments, but it's not very applicable to your usual 4-piece pop/rock act. I took piano lessons for a while, but I didn't really get into it. I had too much trouble trying to play 2 different parts at the same time :)
