I saw soft-shell crabs in the fishmongers today :)
(Soft shell crabs are blue crabs that have just shed their old shells, which they do in spring. If they're taken out of the water right away, they don't grow new shells, and you can eat them whole.)
They were live, too, so super-fresh. I'm going to go back Saturday and see if they have them again. Soft-shells are worth the trouble of cleaning them :)
