I zonked out at 20:30 last night, and woke up at 01:00. I couldn't fall back asleep.
Everyone else was up by the unholy hour of 05:30. My mother got this weird early-morning energy and decided to clean the kitchen floor. Then she decided to clean the carpet. Finally, she cleaned the refrigerator (and needed me to get the bins back in). Grandma decided to nag a bit.
Sleep is now impossible. I also have a headache and my forehead is sore. And just for extra fun, the patch of eczema on my left knee has flared up again.
Oh, and I'm hungry but there's nothing for breakfast and I don't really want to cook anyway! I've just taken a couple of Met, so I'll probably feel queasy soon enough. I should know better than to take it on an empty stomach, but if I forget, I'll miss a dose. Yesterday, I had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Took 2 Met at the end. An hour after I got home, my intestines did something that can only be described as "spectacular". Hmm. I didn't even HAVE cheesecake. I had the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta (which didn't taste that spicy at first, but by the end my tongue was tingling. I actually ate about ¾ of it! Their portion sizes are huge even for America. But I hadn't eaten for the rest of the day so my carbs should've been OK.) Maybe it was punishment for having 100g of chocolate Thursday night....
(met = metformin = glucophage by the way, 2x500mg 2x/day. I'm past the worst of the side effects, but they do recur occasionally.)
On the other hand, I've lost another pound, go me.
Sense a theme of grouchiness here? :(
