I was putting some stuff into the trunk of the car. The sun was right in my eyes, and I whacked my head on the lid. :( I've got a goose egg on my forehead now.

Bra sizes are completely arbitrary.

Ordered 3, same size, same brand, slightly different styles (mainly the fabric).

First one:
Band slightly large (but OK on the 3rd set of hooks), cups definitely too large.

Second:
Band tight, cups fine.

Third:
Band fine, cups fine.

*grumble* I'm going away on Tuesday, I don't have time for this!! Yes, I know it's my own fault; I was thinking for a few weeks how I really needed a few new ones, and I did nothing about it. This was exceptionally silly because I knew I'd have to order them. I'm an odd size, at least as far as the fashion industry is concerned, and I don't have the patience to trawl dozens of stores to find one thing that fits.

The only slight upside is that these were a new brand I decided to try, so I can go back and get ones that are the same as the ones I have now (only new, of course).

Oh well. Enough about my underwear. No one else sees it. As long as it performs the necessary functions, I should be able to deal.

I got some tops, and a new skirt. It's a bit shorter than usual, only top of my calves. Usually, I go for ankle length. I've been a long-skirt wearer for years--it saves on tights (less likely to run, and if they do it's got to be really awful before it shows) and I don't like having to pull down short skirts. (They always creep up on me. I don't know what it is. There are certain figure flaws I can blame on my weight, but this isn't one, because I had the same problem when I was 13 and willing to consider the idea of a two-piece swimsuit. Maybe I just have a really weird waistline and hips; size 8 or 18, things just don't fit right in my midsection.) Anyway, it's nice :) light blue, a little bit of lace trim around the hem. Very spring. I'm starting to get sick of my winter black. ;-)

I'm also pleased because I got everything either on sale, or for a really good price (2 nice t-shirts for $16.98 each), including a really pretty open-knit sweater for almost half off. At almost $200, I would've just said "Nice, but not that nice." At $105, it was "mild extravagance".
