(that people got wrong)
2 people answered, which is probably better than I deserve, given that we must all be heartily sick of these things by now. Kent, you don't count, you just wanted an excuse to call me average again. ;-)

- My eye color is blue, not brown! Tcha! Though I just looked at a couple of photos of me and it can be a little hard to tell. They're fairly dark blue (think denim, though they're a bit more grey than that) so in pictures, even where there's no red-eye, I guess you could just see "dark" and make the mental leap to brown. But blue they are. Hair color is brown, though it's not THAT dark :-)
- I've never been hospitalized, unless you count the time I spent there when I was born. A couple of emergency room visits, but no admissions.
- I seem to have acquired quite a reputation for 80s music, as well! But my favorite band is R.E.M. I got into them when Out of Time was released and they've been my favorites ever since. I own all their albums except for Reckoning and Eponymous (which I lost--it was only a collection of their greatest hits at IRS records, so I didn't rush to replace it). I'm not sure if this shows consistency or a lack of imagination. I prefer the former, given that I have bought and listened to a reasonable variety of music--not just pop/rock but classical, jazz, and foreign (I've even got an Oum Kalthoum CD here, though I have to be in the right mood for that). I guess it's just that R.E.M. has been the most consistently good (to my taste) band. Then again, my favorite female singer is Nina Simone.
