My DVDs
my book collection
(the HTML on the book list may be slightly dubious--it was exported from an Excel worksheet. I tidied it up and got rid of a good chunk of the stupid MSHTML junk, but getting rid of all of it from a 40K+ [after tidying] document would require more patience than I possess. It seems mostly OK, though.)
None of this is to prove anything about me, by the way. I just happened to be updating those tonight.
Then there's the hard one, favorite TV shows. I was recently asked to pick my top five, and ONLY five, and I couldn't do it. Whenever I get a limit like that, it's never quite right. Either I tighten my criteria a little and have too few items for the available slots, or relax them and have too many. With five, it's definitely too few.
Here's a few I consider well worth watching though, no particular order:
The Simpsons (naturally)
The Prisoner
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Homicide: Life on the Street
TV Nation (if you can find it!)
Frontline
P.O.V. (PBS documentary series)
Honorable mention to Law & Order, which although not particularly original, has maintained an admirable level of consistent quality over the years.
