I have to bite the bullet and go in about that top right bicuspid I put off. This is going to be heinous--root canal, post, and crown. I have no choice. I'm in pain. Every time something touches the tooth, I get eye watering pain shooting through the tooth and to the front of my mouth. The next stage after this is a dead tooth, which will be even more awful and expensive, and it will come after months of pain. But even if that weren't the case I have to do something, because tonight I saw stars and cried. I'm no stranger to dental pain, but that was pretty bad.

So, there's another $1500 or so. At least. :(

What insurance do you have?

a root canal + crown, in my neck of the woods is about six appointments. gah. it's my biggest nightmare.
